FCA partners with Adiona for Scope 1 and Scope 3 Emission tracking

Freight Companies Australia is pleased to announce the launch of our partnership with Adiona EmissionSense.


Adiona EmissionSense is a Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions calculation and simulation tool for shippers and transporters.  It calculates the GHG footprint for individual consignments or full vehicle-loads, taking into account the weight, distance, load capacity, type of vehicle, and more.  The calculations comply with the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting (NGER) Scheme by using the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and GLEC frameworks which provide an internationally harmonised, universal method for logistics emissions accounting

Key features include: 

  • Accurately calculate and monitor emissions from individual consignments, vehicles, or the entire fleet in near real-time or retrospectively.

  • Works for carriers that don't have other internal methods of calculating emissions, or for shippers interested in the emissions footprint of their products shipped by 3PLs.

  • The data is provided in a simple format that can be plugged into other reporting solutions and dashboards.

  • Run simulations to forecast future emissions based on historical data or strategic plans.

  • API integrations allow full calculation and reporting automation.

This solution leverages Adiona's popular logistics and delivery optimisation platform that has powered over 35 million lowest-carbon deliveries for brands including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, 7-Eleven, BP, and many more, and includes Australia's first electric vehicle delivery routing system.
