International Women's Day Lunch 2025

This year Freight Companies Australia was a sponsor at the South East Business International Women's Day Luncheon presented by BNI.

There were two guest speakers - Sophie Panigirakis from Community Women's Shelters, and Christine Nixon AO, APM.

The lunch was well attended with over 120 people present. Both speakers were excellent, with Sophie talking about the challenges they face, and the importance of the work, while Christine spoke about her career, and the challenges and lessons of leadership.

Christine Nixon was very impressive, and managed to balance humility and pride in an entertaining and informative presentation, as well as answering some great questions.

The feedback from others who attended was that it was a great event, and I expect we'll attend next year as well.
